Poland scored a 362 in day one with scoring coming from Maria Mancini at 86; Giana DiBenedetto, 90; Melinda Hannon, 91; and Rachel Sines, 95 to fall behind the eventual state champion.
Poland's second day score was a 351 to Chaminade's 358 but it was not enough to erase the leaders lead from day one. Scoring for the Bulldogs on day two of the tournament where Mancini at 76; DiBenedetto, 89; Bilas, 91; and Sines, 95.
Their state run topped off a season where the Bulldogs were 17-2 against their opponents in regular season play. They captured the AAC Red Tier League Tournament title and were Sectional champs for the fourth consecutive year, shooting a school record of 315 at Pine Lakes, where Mancini was medalist and also set a sectional tournament record shooting a 69.
The Bulldogs where North East District champs for the third year earning them the right to advance to the state championship again this season to try and recapture the state championship they won in 2008 when Mancini was just a freshman.
