Snyder, who is a resident of Austintown, held his title from 1994 to 1996. He listed his most important fights as the 10-round decision loss to the famous seven-time world champion Hector “Macho” Camacho and also when he challenged the WBO Continental Americas title with Adrian Dodson from England in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Snyder’s pro career included a record of 22 wins, eight losses and 13 knockouts. Wilson, on behalf of the club presented Snyder with a certificate of appreciation.
