The board of directors of Help Hotline Crisis Center, Inc. at their Oct. 11, meeting, appointed Robert Gavalier of Austintown, to an unexpired position, ending October 2012.
Gavalier is the chief of police for Austintown Township and a member of Mahoning County TASC, Mahoning County 911, Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force, and Mahoning Valley Chiefs of Police Association. He is a graduate of Crisis Intervention Team training provided by the Mahoning County Mental Health Board.
Help Hotline Crisis Center is the 24/7 hotline serving Mahoning and Columbiana counties, with special programs in Trumbull and Ashtabula counties.
