• Canfield Varsity Boys Soccer
The Canfield boys soccer team defeated the Niles Red Dragons, 2-1 on Oct. 4. Tony ElHayek scored the first goal for Canfield with an assist from Dylan Seybert. Seybert then scored the second goal for the Cardinals. Canfield goalie Mike Wittman had eight saves for the game. Canfield recorded 18 shots on goal.
The JV game was also a Canfield win over Niles, 5-0.
• Varsity Volleyball
The Canfield girls volleyball team cracked the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches' Association poll rankings in 13th place in Division II. Presently they are undefeated at 17-0.
