• Fitch Boys Varsity Soccer
Fitch won 4-1 over Beaver Local on Oct. 4. Earlier in the year these two teams tied 0-0. Scoring first for the Falcons was sophomore Ben Conley with an assist coming from sophomore Nate Bowlen. Ten minutes later, the Falcons found the back of the net on a corner kick from senior Mike Shaffer to junior Keanu Shelton. Adding two goals was senior Ross Blevins. The JV team also won its match 3-0 over Beaver.
On Oct. 8, the Fitch guys took on the Perry Eagles and clipped their feathers, 6-1. Before posting five straight points in the second half, Fitch ended the first half at 1-0. Bowlen led the scoring with four goals, and Shelton and Ken Kilpatrick each went in for one. The Falcons led the shot count, 30-7.
