Open house at fire station Oct. 15

The Cardinal Joint Fire District will host a fire prevention open house at Fire Station #2, 5007 Messerly Road, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. There will be fire extinguisher demonstrations, a presentation of the station's new ladder truck, fire helmets for kids, hot dogs and more.
