Austintown Lion David Hicks is getting ready for the club’s annual rose sale at General Motors on Oct. 14. The Lions will be selling a dozen roses for $15 at both the GM Passenger Plant and the Fabricating Plant in Lordstown in time for Sweetest Day. Proceeds from the sale will be used to support national programs for the blind as well as local programs such as providing glasses to poor and guide dogs for the blind.
