The City of Canfield has issued a precautionary boil order for residents on South Hillside, Carriage Hill Apartments, Carriage Hill Drive and Janet Drive until 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1.
The city experienced a waterline break on South Hillside Drive. Therefore, it is advised that residents boil water vigorously for at least one minute. This includes any water used for drinking (including water to make ice), cooking and oral hygiene.
The City of Canfield has no evidence that the water system was contaminated, but is advising residents to take this precautionary measure.
