Gabrieles celebrate 60 years of marriage

John and Mary Teresa Gabriele of Poland were honored in observance of their 60th wedding anniversary during a Mass at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers on Sept. 4. A dinner followed at Shakespeare’s restaurant in Ellwood City, Pa., which was hosted by David (Lori) and their children, Lauren, Gina and John W., and Donald (Judy) and their children, Alexander, Emily and Matthew.

Mr. Gabriele and the former Mary Teresa Barber were married Sept. 3, 1951, at St. Teresa's Church in Morgantown, W.Va.

Mr. Gabriele is retired from Dollar Bank and is a professional musician. Mrs. Gabriele is very active in charitable and social organizations, and is a former CCD religion teacher. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends in Ohio and in Cape Coral, Fla.
