July ceremony unites Grosch and Blevins

The Jewel Box in Forest Park, Mo., was the setting on July 2 for the wedding of Scott M. Blevins and his bride, Colleen E. Grosch.

The Rev. Sandra LaRouche officiated at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony that united the son of Cynthia Blevins of Canfield and late Robert Blevins, and the daughter of Cynthia and Albert Grosch of St. Charles, Mo.

A reception was held in their honor at Lumen Private Event Space in St. Louis, Mo. Their honeymoon was in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, during the first week of August.

The bride wore a sweetheart taffeta mermaid gown with minimal beading and ruching on the bodice, and a ruffled sweep train. The bridesmaids wore island pink dresses.

Allison Chestnut of St. Charles, Mo. was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids included Kristy Knoblauch, Michelle Goldsborough and Kim Prost, all of St. Charles, Mo., Rachel Edington of Knoxville, Tenn., and Ashley Preston of Alexandria, Va.

Serving as best man for the groom was his brother, Todd Blevins of Boardman. The groomsmen included Dean Yeropoli of Akron, Patrick Barry of Charlotte, N.C., Casey Croysdale of Cincinnati, brother of the bride, Patrick Grosch of St. Louis, Mo. and David Ruda of Canton. Serving as junior groomsman was Ethan Blevins, nephew of the groom, and the ring bearer was Aiden Blevins of Boardman, nephew and godson of the groom.

An assistant director at the American College Personnel Association in Washington, D.C., the bride earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas and her master's in higher education from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C.

Her husband graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor's degree in political science and from Ohio State University with a master's in educational leadership. He is currently employed as an assistant director of student leadership programming at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.

The couple have made their home in Alexandria, Va.
