Boardman Superintendent Frank Lazzeri adresses the entire school at Stadium Drive on Friday as the children took part in a 9/11 ceremony honoring those who were lost. Joining their fathers who are members of the Boardman Police Department were Madison Dado and her father Officer Mike Dado; Jacob and Elena Woods and their father Officer Bill Woods; Camille and Abbey Wagner and their father Officer Darrell Wagner; and Jake and Jenna Hughes and their father Officer Tim Hughes.
Derek Billiter of Boy Schout Pack 27 and Amber Allred from Girl Scout Troop 76 had the honor of carrying the American flag during the 9/11 Ceremony and tree dedication on Friday at Stadium Drive Elementary School. All Scouts wore their uniform and took part in the ceremony. They included members of Pack 27 and 114, Brownie Troops 76 and 502, Daisy Troop 80504, and Daisy Juniors 80994.
