Learning the ropes of what it takes to be an engineer, young Zachary Parisi of Boardman helped out his grandpa Bill Parisi in displaying the large Sheet and Tube steam engine in the Western Reserve Historic Village at the fairgrounds. Both were on hand during the fair to offer insight into the world of railroading. Bill is also a member of the western Reserve Modular Railroad Club that will be displaying at Mill Creek MetroPark farm later this month and at the Packard Museum in Warren over the late fall and winter months. Zachary will be taking his train tales to Market Street Elementary School this week.
