September 1, 2011
Special to the Town Crier
Andrew and Katherine Kali, who attend Holy Family School in Poland and are the son and daughter of Richard and Tina Kali, recently competed in the motocross triathlon event at The Big Game Raceway in Hubbard. Over the two-day event, which consisted of motocross, flat track and hare scramble racing, they both took the overall win in each of their classes. Andrew races in the Jr. Pee Wee class and rides a 50cc KTM. Katherine races in the Junior Mini, Women’s, and 65cc classes and won the overall in the women’s class riding a 85cc KTM.

With their family wishing them luck, their next race will be over Labor Day weekend in Delmont, Pa., at Steel City National Raceway, where they will race in the amateur classes on Sunday, Sept. 4, which is round 6 of The Pennsylvania Motocross Championship Series.
