11:59 a.m. - Burglary was reported from a North Main Street residence.

2:22 p.m. - Theft was reported from outside a Kirk Road residence.

4:32 p.m. - Breaking and entering was reported from a South Canfield-Niles Road residence.

6:25 p.m. - Telecomm harassment was reported from McDonald’s, 1707 S. Raccoon Road.

6:54 p.m. - Domestic violence was reported following an incident at a North Edgehill Avenue residence.

8:27 p.m. - Theft from auto was reported from a Central Avenue residence.

10:13 p.m. - Theft from auto was reported from a South Edgehill Avenue residence.



Aug. 15

1:18 a.m. - Following investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Econo Lodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive, police arrested Daniel G. Morris, 45, 142 S. Osborn Ave., Youngstown, for criminal trespassing and driving under suspension.

1:41 a.m. - Domestic violence was reported from a Woodmere Drive residence.

10:10 a.m. - Domestic violence was reported at the station.

11:53 a.m. - Theft from auto was reported from the lot at S&C Auto Sales, 3733 Mahoning Ave.

12:50 p.m. - Shannon R. Nesbitt, 39, 4174 Claridge Drive, was cited for a loud barking dog.

3:55 p.m. - Aggravated menacing was reported from a Westminster Avenue residence.

4:49 p.m. - Jason L. Ostavitz, 18, 3822 Frederick St., was arrested for theft after shoplifting merchandise from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

4:52 p.m. - Theft from auto was reported from the parking lot of Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

5:30 p.m. - Fernando Guterrez, 50, 4493 Mahoning Ave., was arrested for drunken/disorderly conduct at North Beverly and Mahoning avenues.

9:13 a.m. - Criminal damaging auto was reported from a Colgate Drive residence.

9:28 a.m. - Criminal mischief was reported from Resurrection Cemetery, 300 N. Raccoon Road.

1:27 p.m. - A bad check report was taken at the station.

1:29 p.m. - Dawn M. Neeld, 32, 4528 Washington Square Drive, was arrested for theft after shoplifting merchandise from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

3:13 p.m. - Fraud was reported from an Oak Trace Drive residence.

4:39 p.m. - Domestic violence was reported following an incident at a Compass West apartment.

4:46 p.m. - An animal complaint was reported following a dog attack on Parkgate Avenue.

6:00 p.m. - Theft was reported following a soliciting incident on Yorktown Lane.

6:06 p.m. - Theft was reported after customers left without paying their bill at Winston’s Tavern, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

6:31 p.m. - Assault was reported following a pellet gun shooting on Elmwood Avenue.

7:45 p.m. - Intimidation was reported following an incident outside a Fountain Square Drive residence.

8:12 p.m. - Menacing was reported after an officer was flagged down at New Road and Ohio 46.

8:28 p.m. - An unruly juvenile report was taken at a Nottingham Avenue residence.



Aug. 17

12:41 p.m. - Robert P. Burton, 49, 7357 W. Parkside Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on Klemnar Court on a parole violation warrant from Boardman Court.

1:20 p.m. - Theft was reported following a pickpocketing in the parking lot of 4222 New Road.

3:24 p.m. - Theft was reported after a customer’s cell phone was stolen at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

3:25 p.m. - Attempted suicide was reported from a Brandomyne Avenue residence. The victim was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

4:11 p.m. - Theft was reported from a North Edgehill Avenue residence.

5:35 p.m. - Attempted suicide was reported from an Old Farm Trail residence. The victim was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

7:10 p.m. - Theft was reported after a customer’s purse was stolen at the Austintown Branch Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

7:12 p.m. - Theft was reported from a Westchester Drive apartment.

11:33 p.m. - Theft was reported following a quick-change incident at Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.



Aug. 18

2:40 a.m. - Kimberly M. Stucky, 35, 323 Whipple Ave., Campbell, was arrested for drunken/disorderly conduct following an incident at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

2:59 a.m. - Harry Ferrante, 55, 3729 South Ave., Youngstown, was arrested for drunken/disorderly conduct in the parking lot of Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

9:56 a.m. - Theft was reported after gasoline was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 Niles-Canfield Road.

11:41 a.m. - Criminal damaging was reported from Lynn Kirk School, 4211 Evelyn Ave.

1:10 p.m. - Theft was reported from the law office of Attorney Steven D. Maas, 54 Westchester Drive.

2:01 p.m. - Theft was reported following an incident at a Westmont Avenue residence.

4:56 p.m. - Theft was reported following a quick-change incident at Perkins, 5550 Interstate Blvd.

5:44 p.m. - Theft was reported after merchandise was shoplifted from Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

5:50 p.m. - A lost/stolen wallet was reported at the station. It was subsequently discovered intact.
