The Rev. Mike Tegeder officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony that united the son of Sam and Kathy Lavanty of Poland and the daughter of Dave and Fran Henrich of St. Peter, Minn. A reception was held at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul, Minn. that evening at 6 p.m.
The bride wore a diamond white one-piece strapless A-line gown with a lace-up back by David Tutera. The gown and train were adorned with beading. Her tiara was in the shade of silver, and she wore a cathedral-length veil for the ceremony. She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses with stephanotis and crystals.
Michelle Spady of Atlanta, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids included Amy Berger of St. Paul, Minn., Amy Levi-Haim of Las Vegas, Kim Erdel of Youngstown, and Christina Sample of Rockville, Md. They wore blue gowns and carried pink and white roses with green viburnum.
Serving as best man for the groom was Bob Kane of Atlanta, Ga. The groomsmen included Nate Orosz of Poland, Chad Henrich of Minneapolis, Minn., and Ric Patrick of Raleigh, N.C. The ushers included Brent Gallas of Bradenton, Fla., Gary Harris of Frederick, Md., Jared Henrich of St. Paul, Minn., and Corey Henrich of Fall Creek, Wis.
The couple honeymooned in Kauai, Hawaii, following the wedding and reception.
A physical therapist at NovaCare Rehabilitation in Edina, Minn., the bride earned her bachelor's degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., and her master of physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse.
Her husband graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in telecommunications. He is currently a promotions writer/producer/editor for FOX Sports in Minneapolis, Minn.
The couple has made their home in Minneapolis.
