Poland Rotary car show set for Aug. 14

A great car and bike show close to home will return for its second year. The 2011 edition of the Poland Rotary Car and Bike Show will be held on Sunday, Aug. 14, at the former Save-A-Lot parking lot, 3131 Center Rd. (Route 224), Poland. The show will be held from 6 to 9 pm.

In addition to the car show, which will feature antique cars and muscle cars as well as custom and street motorcycles, there will be music, food and lots of fun. An addition this year will be fire trucks, kids’ slides and a few more fun things to do.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Poland Firemen’s Association. The association assists with fire education, training and equipment for the Western Reserve Fire District and also supports families in need,

Co-Sponsors of the event include Poland Handel’s Ice Cream and Belleria Pizza of Poland both of which are adjacent to the site of the show.

Registration per bike/car is $5. Any additional donations will directly benefit the Firemen’s Association.
