Local dance studio owner Judy Conti of Poland has been inducted into the Stambaugh Auditorium Wall of Fame and is celebrating 50 years of dance in the Valley. Conti is the only local inductee among national celebrities such as Ben Vereen, Tony Bennett, Liberace, Bob Hope, The Boston Pops Orchestra and Robert Goulet.

Conti has strong ties to Stambaugh Auditoium dating back to 1945 when she first stepped on the stage. Since then, she has held all of her dance studio recitals at Stambaugh Auditorium and has also been involved as the fashion coordinator for Stambaugh Pillars, a fashion show fundraiser that benefits the auditorium.

Conti has taken great pleasure in her 50 years of teaching dance in the Valley.

“I have loved every minute of being involved in the studio life and watching our young dancers gropw into poised, self-confident, beautiful people inside and out,” she said. “It has been such a pleasure and honor to have this wonderful opportunity to be such a special part of their lives and help in their development for their future life.”
