Roth 12u wins Mill Creek Park tournament

The Roth Baseball 12u team won the Chuck Acri Annual Mill Creek Jr. Baseball Tournament on July 16, taking four consecutive games. Roth pitchers Danny Joyce, Aaron Woodberry and Alex Schlosser each posted no-hitters in three of the four games. Aaron Woodberry was honored as the Most Valuable Pitcher and Danny Joyce was honored with the Most Valuable Player award.

In the championship game, Danny Joyce posted a no-hitter and slugged two home runs, as well as perfect hitting for the entire tournament. Contributing to the team effort were Kris Santilli with four hits and two doubles; Joey Gasior with six hits and four doubles; Aaron Woodberry with six hits, two doubles, one triple and a home run; Chayne Cefalde, Alex Schlosser and Jovett Rodriguez each contributed four hits. Eric Ostrowski had 3 hits, and Kamren Kosco, Chad Svatosky, Tanor English and Chase Taylor each posted two hits.
