The Mahoning County Juvenile Court Advisory Board, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, consists of community members who advise the court on community concerns as well as maintain the policies and mandates of the Mahoning County Juvenile Court. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Juvenile Court's programs.
Due to state and county budget cuts many programs and services have been curtailed, the proceeds will assist in continuing to provide needed services to the youths and families of our community. Judge Theresa Dellick's programs have been recognized both nationally and statewide for their effectiveness. In addition, the board intends to award scholarships to graduates of the Mahoning County High School, a school which has provided second chances to many students.
