The son of John and Margaret Gardner of Boardman graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry with a doctorate of optometry in June. He is employed at the OSU College of Optometry, working in the clinic and obtaining his master’s degree while completing a fellowship.
The future bride is the daughter of Mark and Susan Bornhorst of Minster and also earned a doctorate of optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in June. She is currently employed as an optometrist in the Columbus area.
The couple will be married in August at St. Augustine Church in Minster, with an evening reception to follow. Invitations will be extended for both.
