Blanco and Porter to exchange vows in September

The engagement of Kimberly Blanco and Michael Porter is being announced by their parents, Phil and Sue Blanco of Poland and Tim and Janet Porter of Canfield.

The couple will be married during a September ceremony at Holy Family Church in Poland. Invitations will be issued for a reception at the Lake Club in Poland.

Miss Blanco earned both her bachelor’s degree and her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Toledo. Afterward, she completed a residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. She is currently employed as a clinical pharmacy coordinator at Valleycare Health System Northside Hospital.

Mr. Porter graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business and sports management from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, N.C. He is the owner of Mahoning Valley Distributing in Youngstown.
