Richard and Kathy Maine of Canfield are the parents of the bride-to-be, and Robert and Helen Peet of Salem are the parents of the future groom.
St. Christine's Church has been chosen by the couple for their 5:30 p.m. wedding Oct. 22. A private reception will be held that evening at the St. Christine Parish Center.
Ms. Maine graduated from The Ohio State University with bachelor's degrees in political science and criminology, and a post-baccalaureate degree from Columbus State Community College in paralegal studies. She is employed by the City of North Ridgeville as assistant clerk of council.
Mr. Peet graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is employed by Pioneer Electronics as a regional sales director.
