October ceremony to unite Mellott and Shafer

Richard and Denise Mellott of Austintown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Nichole Michelle Mellott, to Eric Allan Shafer of Liberty.

Miss Mellott graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is employed with Humility House in Austintown.

Mr. Shafer is the son of Ed and Sue Shafer of Warren and earned an associate’s degree in electrical engineering from Kent State University. He is an electrical technician at Ajax Tocco Magnethermic in Warren.

The couple will be married during a morning ceremony Oct. 22 at Julia's Bed and Breakfast in Hubbard. An evening reception will be held at St. Demetrios Community Center in Warren. Invitations will be extended for both.
