Dustin Brode, class of 2010 Canfield High School, and now of Harvard University, won the Ivy League championship in the shot put with a throw of 57 feet, 11 inches held at Yale University on May 7. That throw is the second best in Harvard history. He was also the runner-up in the IC4A Championship May 15. He has received the honor of First Team All Ivy League and Rookie of the Week. Brode has qualified in shot put in Regional Finals on May 26 in Bloomington, Ind.
