The 14-and-under Thunder Elite girls fast pitch softball team won its first tournament of the 2011 campaign going unbeaten in a weather-shortened format surrendering only two runs and included two no-hitters by Thunder Elite pitching at the Youngstown Mayhem Tournament in Liberty. The team battled rain and poor conditions, as well the field competition en route to a 4-0 record.
