Youngstown Flag Football team, Buffalo Bills practiced April 19 preparing to play their next game. The team plays next at 1 p.m. May 1 at Boardman’s football field in the 5- and 6-year-old bracket. This team includes Mason Santangelo, Drew Centofanti, Clayton Medvec and Ian Francis; in the second row: Beau Brungard, Logan, River Flatley and Mason Gentle. Coaches include Michael Gentle and Poland varsity football coach Mark Brungard.
Drew Centofanti is on the end of the pass that Mark Brungard threw and now defending the goal is his son Beau Brungard attempting to pull the flag from Centofanti as coach Michael Gentle observes.
Mark Brungard gets the ball from center Drew Centofanti and with a three-step drop back looks for the open man. Brungard said, “It felt like old times, and I felt pretty comfortable in the pocket.”
