RICHARD F. SHERIDAN, 59

Funeral services were held Monday, March 28 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Boardman for Richard F. “Rick” Sheridan, 59, of Canfield, who died March 24 at Hospice House of Poland. Rick was born April 11, 1951, in Youngstown, a son of Richard F. and Ethel Bender Sheridan. A lifelong area resident, Rick graduated from Fitch High School in 1969 and served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for six years. He worked for Linde Gas company for 35 years, retiring in 2002 and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

His wife, the former Joni Stefanick, whom he married Sept. 29, 1979, died May 30, 2002. Besides his mother, Ethel Sheridan of Austintown, he leaves his son, Ryan Sheridan of Lakewood, a brother, Tom (Susan) Sheridan of Boardman, a sister, Jill (Chuck) Burley of Austintown, and his mother-in-law, Tillie Stefanick of Youngstown.

Besides his father and his wife, Rick was preceded in death by his daughter, Erika J. Sheridan.
