Dellesky and Yocco united in marriage in Columbus

The wedding of Carrie Dellesky and Dane Yocco took place at 5:30 p.m. July 17, 2010, at Whetstone Park of Roses in Columbus. The Rev. Jeff Cannell of Central Vineyard Church performed the ceremony.

A reception followed at the Clintonville Woman’s Club in Columbus.

The parents of the couple are Barb Dellesky, and Tony and Julie Yocco of West Chester.

The bride’s strapless A-line gown featured a side-draped bodice and asymmetric skirt. The bridesmaids’ dresses, in lapis cotton sateen, complimented the outdoor garden theme.

Amy Skvarka served as maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were Jamie Dellesky, Caitlin Yocco and Alli Yocco.

Serving as best man was Alex Harnocz, and the groomsmen were Teddy Dellesky, Kevin Marginian and Jason Whalen. The junior ushers were Parker and Carson Dellesky, and Lukas Dellesky served as ring bearer.

The bride graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with bachelor of arts degrees in communications and international studies. She is a graduate student in the School of Public Affairs at American University in Washington, D.C. She is employed in the Honor Department at A.U.

The groom earned a bachelor of science in political science at The Ohio State University and a master’s in public administration at OSU’s John Glenn School of Public Affairs. He is a senior quantitative analyst for Corporate Executive Board.

The couple lives in Washington, D.C.
