Poland tennis team prepares for season

David Shoffstall a Poland sophomore will be playing second double again this season.

Poland’s Ryan Calcagni shoots a two hand forward shot to a teammate while they prepare for the season. The guys take on Niles at home on Monday at 4 p.m.

Returning this year is Poland’s Doug Pogacnik who will play first double with teammate Zack Fortunato.

Powerhouse Zack Fortunato, who was a district qualifier last year and an All League All American Conference player, wants to take up where he left off from last season.

Kenny Duncan is the number one seed this year in singles. Duncan who was a district qualifier last season has worked out all winter long and anxiously waits for the season to begin.
