At Canfield High School, Bettura will be a two-year varsity letter winner in baseball, playing primarily as a pitcher. His contributions on the mound for the Cards helped propel them to an overall record of 19-8, their seventh consecutive conference title and a District runner-up showing in 2010.
Bettura also plays baseball during the summer months, including most recently for the local Ohio Glaciers, and he has committed to playing for the Class "B" League's Roth Brothers squad this season.
Bettura is also a varsity letter-winner at CHS in basketball and soccer. He also has a 3.57 GPA and stands 66th in a class of 286. He is the son of Joe and Sharon Bettura.
