New York wedding unites Meister and Ellison

Hawaii was the honeymoon destination of Kristin Ann Meister and Joshua John Ellison, both of New York City, following their Nov. 6, 2010, wedding at the 3 West Club in New York. The 5:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by Timothy Martin-Vasquez and was followed by a reception at the 9 West Club.

The bride is a daughter of Thomas and Ann Meister of Poland. John and Margaret Ellison of Grove City, Pa., are the parents of the groom.

For her wedding, the bride wore a strapless copper-colored couture gown by Pnina Tornai and carried a bouquet of mango calla lilies and orchids.

Serving as maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Erin Elizabeth Meister of New York, who wore a champagne-colored gown. Jeremy Sullivan of Long Beach, Calif., a friend of the groom, performed the duties of best man.

A 1996 graduate of Poland Seminary High School, Ms. Meister earned degrees from Kenyon College in Gambier, in 2000, and the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Mich., in 2004. She is a litigation attorney with a firm in New York.

A 1994 graduate of Grove City High School in Grove City, Pa., Mr. Ellison earned degrees from Oberlin College in 1998 and the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Mich., in 2004. He is an attorney with a law firm in New York.

Following their honeymoon, they have made their home in New York.
