Brooks won the 100 backstroke in a time of 52.76. He swam a NCAA, B cut time of 52.01 in the preliminary heat. He also took third in the 50 freestyle with a 21.34 and third in the 200 backstroke in 1:56.30.
Barringer won the 100 butterfly with a time of 50.74, which was also a NCAA, B cut time. He came in third in the 100 freestyle with 47.24 and fourth in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.55.
Together they were on the second place 400 medley relay, second place 400 freestyle relay, second place in the 200 freestyle relay and third place in the 800 freestyle relay.
The former Spartan swimmers were also selected to the President’s Athletic Conference All-Conference first team for swimming/diving. Barringer had been selected twice during the season to be Conference Swimmer of the Week.
