Parents announce engagement of Potts and Schiavoni

Parents of the bride and groom, Lori Centofanti and Scott Potts, and attorney Louis and Joan Schiavoni, are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Margaret Potts and Joe Schiavoni.

Invitations will be extended for the wedding at the Carlouel Yacht Club in Clearwater Beach, Fla., on April 29. Upon return home, their marriage will be blessed by the Rev. Greg Maturi of St. Dominic's Church in Youngstown.

The bride-to-be holds a bachelor of science in biology and nursing from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in nurse anesthesia from St. Elizabeth's School for Nurse Anesthetists. She is currently working as a nurse anesthetist at the Cleveland Clinic and The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods.

Her future groom holds a bachelor of science in communications from Ohio University and a juris doctorate from Capital Law School. He is currently the state senator for the 33rd district of Ohio and is an attorney at Schiavoni, Schiavoni, Bush and Muldowney, LPA, in Austintown.
