St. Maron’s to be setting for Awad and Alexander

Dr. and Mrs. Mounir and Linda Awad of Canfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Marie Linda Awad of Pittsburgh, to Louis Alexander Jr., also of Pittsburgh, son of Mrs. Norma Alexander and the late Dr. Louis Alexander Sr.

Dr. Awad graduated from Youngstown State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in combined sciences. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and is a resident physician in general surgery at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Alexander graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He earned his Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law and is employed by the law firm of Blumling and Gusky, LLP in Pittsburgh.

The couple will marry at St. Maron Church in Youngstown this August. Invitations will be issued for both the ceremony and evening reception at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
