Hubbard and Westlake wed at Stambaugh Auditorium

Ann Hubbard, a daughter of Dr. Gary and Carol Hubbard of Canfield, and Daniel Westlake, a son of James and Margaret Westlake of Columbus, were married on Aug. 21, 2010, in Christman Memorial Hall at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.

The 4 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Timothy Heintzelman. The couple greeted guests during a reception in the Grand Ballroom at Stambaugh Auditorium.

The bride's strapless gown featured asymmetrical soft chiffon ruching throughout the design, the neckline was adorned with a Swarovski crystal accent, and the lace-up back had a sweep train.

Carrie Hubbard of Canfield, the bride's sister and honor attendant, wore a spiced wine-colored dress, as did the bridesmaids, Abigail Potter of Arlington, Va., and Nicole Spirgen of Chicago.

The duties of best man were performed by Matthew Sarver of Columbus. Groomsmen were the brothers of the groom, Jeffrey Westlake of Gahanna and Bradley Westlake of Columbus. Ushers were Christopher Cassaniti of Cleveland and Joshua Mancini of North Royalton.

The bride graduated from Wittenberg University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and will receive a master's degree in social foundations of education from the University of Virginia later this year. She is a teacher and enrollment director at McLean Children's Academy in McLean, Va.

The groom graduated from Wittenberg University with bachelor's degrees in political science and East Asian studies. He is an account executive with HCL Technologies in Vienna, Va.

After a wedding trip to the Caribbean, Mr. and Mrs. Westlake live in Falls Church, Va.
