Jan. 4

An investigation is ongoing into the report of a male subject advising that a friend assaulted him at a fairground Boulevard location.



Jan. 5

Alyssa Marble, 31, Warren, was arrested by Newton Falls police on a Canfield Mayor’s Court bench warrant for failure to appear.

Following a traffic stop on East Main Street, James Cunningham, 28, Euclid, was arrested for drug abuse and was cited for a defective exhaust.

Following a traffic stop on Lisbon Street, Aaron Brescio, 30, Youngstown, was arrested on a Youngstown Municipal Court bench warrant for failure to appear.

An investigation is ongoing into a reported theft at a Cardinal Drive location.



Jan. 6

No charges were filed, but are pending against a male juvenile, following multiple calls for a verbal altercation between family members at a Brookpark Drive location.

Charges are pending for criminal damaging against a juvenile student at MCCTC.

Following a traffic accident on East Main Street, Ali Abou-Osman, 18, Canfield, was cited for assured clear distance.

No charges were filed after a vehicle slid into a stop sign at Hilltop Boulevard and North Broad Street. No damage was done to the sign.



Jan. 7

No charges were filed following a verbal altercation at an Edwards Avenue location.

Following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard, Melissa Bayus, 27, Brookfield, was cited for speeding (42 in a 25 zone).



Jan. 8

Following a traffic stop on Callahan Road, David Perham, 50, Boardman, was cited for speeding (43 in a 25 zone).

Following a traffic stop on East Main Street, Joelle Battista, 22, Canfield, was cited for expired plates.

Following a call to Giant Eagle on East Main Street, Bobby Lee Woodall, 28, Ravenna was arrested for theft.



Jan. 9

Following a traffic stop on Blueberry Hill, a 17-year-old from Youngstown was cited for speeding (42 in a 25 zone).

Following a traffic stop on West Main Street, Brandon Wilson-Coppin, 21, Dennison, was arrested for drug possession and was cited for a marked lanes violation.



Jan. 10

Following a call to MCCTC, DeSirae Seidner, 19, Petersburg, was arrested for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charges are pending for a male juvenile student at MCCTC who was investigated for possession of dangerous drugs.

An investigation is ongoing and charges pending in a case of two students at Canfield Village Middle School involved in a physical altercation.
