Dec. 27

Elsie Luth, 81, Canfield, was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian, stemming from an accident on East Main Street on Dec. 23.



Dec. 29

Kaitlin Golub, 22, Stow, was arrested on Dec, 29 for identity theft stemming from an investigation from Sept. 14.

Following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard, Chad Schultz, 36, Cortland, was cited for speeding, (actual speed not listed).

Following a traffic stop on Herbert Road, Nicholas Cipollone, 88, Youngstown, was cited for speeding, (actual speed not listed).

An investigation is ongoing into the report of telephone harassment at a Deer Trail location.

Following a traffic stop on East Main Street, Alberta McFarland, 62, Canfield, was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired and was cited for a marked lanes violation.

Following a traffic stop on Herbert Road, Jarrel Pete, 25, Youngstown, was cited for driving under suspension and illegal window tint.



Dec. 30

Following a traffic stop on West Main Street, Thomas Abercrombie, 25, Youngstown, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, and Donald Abercrombie, 25, Youngstown, was cited for driving under suspension and speeding, (actual speed not listed).

An investigation was conducted and no citations issued in a car versus deer accident on West Main Street.

A report was taken at a South Briarcliff location after the report of a credit card used without authorization.

Following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard, Shannon Romeo, 30, was cited for speeding (49 in a 25 zone).

Following a traffic stop on North Broad Street, Linda Riley, 60, Austintown, was cited for speeding (42 in a 25 zone).

An investigation was conducted and no citations issued in a car versus deer accident on South Broad Street.



Dec. 31

Following a traffic stop on Wadsworth Street, Shanntel Russell, 23, Warren, was arrested for driving under suspension and was cited for illegal sunscreen material.

Following a traffic stop on North Broad Street, Kevin Beighley, 46, Youngstown, was arrested for driving under suspension and was cited for inadequate exhaust.

Mutual aid was provided after the North Jackson Police Department requested a K-9 sniff of a vehicle.



Jan. 2

A private property accident report was taken at an East Main Street location.

Following a traffic stop on South Raccoon Road, Gregory Hamilton, 45, Austintown, was cited for expired plates.

An investigation is on-going into the report of an assault at a Neff Drive residence.



Jan. 3

Following a traffic stop on East Main Street, Angel Phillips, 34, Lisbon, was arrested for possessing a drug abuse instrument and driving under suspension, and was cited for having only one brake light. Also arrested was Crystal Hotlosz, 30, Salem, who was charged with wrongful entrustment, and Brandon Pulse, 19, Hilliard, was arrested for possession of a drug instrument.

Following an investigation at a North Palmyra Road location, Chad Kutti, 18, Austintown, was arrested for underage consumption.

Following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard, Larry Gillespie, 63, Youngstown, was cited for a seatbelt violation.
