Honeymoon in Vietnam for Boyer and Williams

December 8, 2010
The Town Crier
St. James Meeting House in Boardman was the setting on Sept. 11 for the fall wedding of Terry Ryan Williams and his bride, Stephanie Rose Boyer.

The Rev. James Koehler officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony that united the daughter of Greg and Renee Bodden of Canfield and Stephen Boyer of Niles, and the son of Terry and Nancy Williams of Gates Mills.

A reception was held in their honor at The Georgetown in Youngstown that evening. The following morning, a brunch was held at the Lane Family Center in Canfield, and the weekend celebration ended with a barbecue cookout at the bride's parents.

The bride was stunning in an ivory strapless satin gown of embroidered lace overlay enhanced with crystal and pearl beading and featuring a hi-low hemline. She wore a Mediterranean-style headpiece gilded with gold leaves and carried a bouquet of trumpet lilies.

Jennifer Yazvac of Boardman, a cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kaleigh Loomis of Canfield, also a cousin of the bride, Nicole Kesten of Skokie, Ill., sister of the groom, and Angela Brownfield and Stephanie Seger, both friends of the bride from Columbus. They wore harvest gold gowns and carried lilies.

Serving as best man for the groom was his best friend, Kyle Zakov of Barre, Vt. His groomsmen included Billy Loomis and Charlie Loomis of Canfield, cousins of the bride, Scott Kesten of Skokie Ill., brother-in-law of the groom, and Trevor Zakov of Gates Mills, friend of the groom. Also, Joshua Kesten of Skokie, Il., nephew of the groom served as the ring bearer.

A registered nurse at Trillium Place Assisted Living in Dublin, the bride earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Hondros College School of Nursing in Columbus and her bachelor’s in communications from The Ohio State University.

Her husband graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science in molecular genetics and is pursuing a doctorate in dentistry, also at OSU.

The couple will leave for a three-week honeymoon in Vietnam touring Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Phu Quoc.

They have made their home in Dublin.
