Casagrande and Byce wed in August ceremony

The marriage of Brittani Ann Casagrande of Powell and Michael Jon Byce of Columbus took place Aug. 14 at the First Congregational Church in downtown Columbus.

The couple was honored during a reception at the Hyatt on Capital Square, after which they honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The bride is the daughter of Holly Casagrande and the late Robert Casagrande, and the groom is the son of Michael and Debra Byce of Canfield.

The bride wore a strapless, dropped-waist ball gown with a crystal-and-pearl-beaded bodice and chapel-length train accented with glove button detail.

Chelsie Casagrande was her sister's maid of honor, and her bridesmaids were Kimberly and Megan Byce, sisters of the groom, Sara Jung and Catherine McWherter. The junior bridesmaid was Corinne Tracey, cousin of the bride, and flower girls were Lauren and Alli Klinefelter.

Serving as best man for his brother was Patrick Byce. The groomsmen included Matthew Rothbauer, cousin of the groom, and friends Jeremy Rabell, Chris Nardone, Matt Custis and Ryan DeMatteis.

The bride earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, and the groom earned his bachelor of accounting degree from Franklin University, also in Columbus.

After returning from their honeymoon, they made their home in Columbus.
