St. Nicholas Church in Struthers was the setting on June 12 for the wedding of James T. Kosek and his bride, Jessica L. Mularchik.

The Rev. Philip Rogers officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony that united the daughter of Richard and Cecilia Mularchik of Struthers and the son of James and Denise Kosek of Poland. A reception was held in the couple's honor later that evening at Avion on the Water in Canfield. After the wedding, the couple left for a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The bride wore an ivory satin strapless A-line gown with a chapel-length train. The bodice and hemline were richly embellished with embroidery and crystal beading. She held a bouquet of Sahara and vendella roses.

Plum tea-length dresses were worn by maid of honor Lesley Phillips, friend of the bride, and bridesmaids Amanda Ash, friend of the bride, Lindsay McKneely, cousin of the bride, and Kelly Pulido, sister of the groom. They held bouquets of pink roses and yellow gerber daisies.

Serving as best man for the groom was his friend, Rich Sacui. The groomsmen included Darren Rabosky, friend of the groom, Richard Mularchik, brother of the bride, and Jonathan Pulido, brother-in-law of the groom.

The bride graduated magna cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in middle childhood education. She is currently pursuing a master's degree from YSU in curriculum and instruction.

Mr. Kosek graduated with a bachelor's degree in history from Muskingum College and a master's degree in educational administration from Youngstown State University. He is principal of the Rayen Early College Middle School, Youngstown City Schools.
