First Covenant Church in Boardman was the setting for the Aug. 7 wedding of Stacie Lee Davis and Brian Michael Hoover. The Rev. Thomas F. Sharkey officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony that joined the daughter of Tom and Kathie Davis of Boardman, and the son of Bill and Nancy Hoover of McDonald in matrimony.

The bride selected a white satin strapless pick-up style gown accented with a rose-petal pink sash. She wore an elbow-length veil embellished with satin trim and a rhinestone and Swarovski crystal headpiece. She carried a bouquet of two dozen pink roses, also adorned with Swarovski crystals, and a heart-shaped locket featuring photos in memory of her grandparents. The floral stems were wrapped with white satin ribbon and accented with bands of rhinestones.

Wearing floor-length pink satin gowns, each in a unique style, were the bride’s attendants, including maid of honor Allison Smith, friend of the bride, and bridesmaids Heather Trolio, friend of the bride, Lisa Lugo, sister of the groom, and Maribeth Wadman, cousin of the groom. They carried nosegays of white and pink roses. Dressed in white satin pick-up style gowns accented with a pink sash to match the bride were flower girls Lucy Davis, niece of the bride, and Emily Lugo, niece of the groom.

Paul Maholtz, cousin of the groom, performed the duties of best man. The groomsmen included Jose Lugo, brother-in-law of the groom, and Jason and Ryan Davis, brothers of the bride. Ethan Lugo, nephew of the groom, served as a junior groomsman. The ring bearer was Ashton Ramsdale, son of the bride.

The new Mrs. Hoover graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of science in business administration. She is employed as the education management information system coordinator for Canfield Local School District.
