An exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony June 19 when Amy Marie Angelo, daughter of John and Linda Angelo of Poland, and Dominic Michael Fiumara, son of John and Sandra Fiumara of New Middletown, were united in marriage at Holy Family Church in Poland. The Rev. Richard Whetstone officiated.

After a reception at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman, the couple left for a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia. They now live in Poland.

Embellished with embroidered Alencon lace, Swarovski crystals, rhinestones and beading, the bride’s gown featured a cathedral-length train.

Purple gowns were worn by Kelly Dobransky, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Angelina Fiumara, a sister of the groom, and Nicole Tuck, Courtney Flack, Katie Ensley, Christine Davis, Tara Mohn and Angela Jones, friends of the bride. The flower girl was the bride’s cousin, Lily Witte.

Serving as best man was James Mash III, and the groomsmen were Gregory and John Angelo, brothers of the bride, and Joseph D’Amato, Timothy Kawecki, Seth Sarty, Aaron Wood and Ryan Jones, friend of the groom. The usher was Samuel Fiumara, a brother of the groom.

The new Mrs. Fiumara graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education and from Walsh University with a master’s in education. She is a fifth-grade social studies teacher with Springfield Local School District in New Middletown.

Mr. Fiumara completed studies as a journeyman with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 396 and is a service technician with Diversified Comfort Services in New Middletown.
