Poland eighth-grade running back Marlon Ramirez turned in an impressive performance with two rushing touchdowns against Hubbard last week to help the Dogs rally after a first-half tie to win, 26-6.
Linebacker Michael Audi makes a jumping interception in last week’s game with Hubbard to take the Poland freshmen to a 26-0 win. Poland ended first half 3-0 with a field goal by Alex Ankerman and second half standout Art Duran who caught an interception for a touchdown and a key fourth-down tackle.
Poland seventh-grade quarterback Nick Buccieri makes a 30-yard run to lead the Dogs to a 30-0 shut out over the Hubbard Eagles last week. Fullback Anthony Audi took one in on a pass recption and 40 yard run. Runningback Tyler Smith posted a 45-yard run and runningback Dylan Garver, a five-yard run. Poland defensive standouts were Joe Bonerico, T.J. Sacco, Anthony Audi and Trey Ellis, all with multiple quarterback sacks and tackles for loss.
