Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Boardman for Lisa L. Martin, 39, who died early Tuesday morning at the Cleveland Clinic following a bone marrow transplant and a prior illness.
She was born Aug. 2, 1971 in Youngstown, the daughter of Richard and Linda Ann (Stefanick) Martin, and she resided in this area all of her life.
Lisa was a 1989 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and received an associate’s degree in floral design and marketing from Ohio State University.
She was the owner and operator of Pickett Fences Floral and Gifts in Kentucky and Ohio for the past 20 years. She also worked in landscaping, was a licensed real estate agent for Mike Coman Realty, and most recently she worked for Zinz Construction and Restoration.
She played softball for the Austintown Little League for many years, where she was known as “Animal” for her competitiveness and excellent play.
Lisa was vivacious and talented, and she had a great love for animals and farm life. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her parents, Richard and Linda, with whom she recently made her home; her two dear children, McClintock and Clay Ramseyer; a brother, Richard Martin of Austintown; her fiancée, Andrew Niederkohr and his daughter Ashley, of Carey; her grandmother, Tillie Stefanick; her grandfather, Roy L. Martin; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends who were always there for her.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather, John Stefanick, a grandmother, Winona Martin, and a step grandmother, Wilma Martin.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
