Glaciers put ice on cake with USSSA championship

The Glaciers traveling boys baseball team went 4-0 in the United States Specialty Sports Association baseball Florence Summer Challenge tournament defeating the Carolina Sox in the semifinals, 9-1 and defeating North Carolina's No. 1 team, the Area Stars Baseball Academy, 5-3 in the championship, earning them a berth in USSSA Baseball World Series. The team did well in tournamants and earned spots in four other national events: Nations Baseball State and National championship, CABA World Series, and Triple Crown Sports Nationals. Team members include, in front row: Ricky Svetlak, Hunter Snyder, Dominic Lipari, and Brandon Fagert. In second row: manager Ron Fagert, coach Barry Snyder, Austin Wilson, Scott Pierce, Kiernan Kiske, Tommy James, Mark Passarello, Ryan Miller, and coach Deon Miller. In back are: coach Scott Pierce and Dwayne Wilson.
