Anderson becomes bride of Smith in May ceremony

David Smith and his bride, the former Megan Anderson, both of Austintown, exchanged marriage vows May 22 at Zion Lutheran Church in Youngstown. The Rev. David Smith officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed that evening by a reception at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

Parents of the bride are Tim and Debbie Anderson of Austintown, and the groom is the son of Tom and Linda Smith of Youngstown.

Serving as maid of honor was friend of the bride Holly Nittoli. The bridesmaids included Mandy Smith, sister-in-law of the bride, Tereasa Romeo, cousin of the groom, and Amanda Morningstar and Sara Zimmerman, friends of the bride. Hailey Smith, the groom’s niece, was the flower girl.

The groom’s brother, Tom Smith carried out the duties of best man. The groomsmen included Tim Anderson, brother of the bride, and Tony Nittoli, Joe Zimmerman and Steve Degenaro, all friends of the groom.

The new Mrs. Smith graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism. She works as a graphic designer for the Town Crier community newspapers in Boardman.

Mr. Smith also graduated from YSU, with a bachelor of electrical and computer engineering. He is employed as a systems architect at Sovreign DDI in North Jackson.

Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya in Mexico, the couple has made their home in Austintown.
