June 1


Following a traffic stop on East Main Street, Deborah Lapin, 43, Salem, was cited for no seat belt-driver and Joshua Lapin, 21, Salem, was cited for no seatbelt-passenger.


June 2


Following an investigation of a traffic crash at Fairground Boulevard and East Main Street, Mary Logorda, 23, Youngstown, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for failure to control. During the investigation, Dominic Leonelli, 24, Canfield, was charged with obstructing official business.


An investigation is ongoing into the theft of a laptop computer from a Carriage Lane residence.


June 3


K9 mutual aid was provided to Ohio Highway Patrol officers who requested assistance for a narcotic search on South Broad Street.


June 4


Following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard, Natale Rucci, 44, Canfield, was charged with driving under suspension and was cited for a loud exhaust.


Following a traffic stop on Glenview, a 17-year-old was cited for speeding (49 in a 25 zone).


June 5


Officers responded to a verbal dispute at a Lisbon Street residence.


An investigation is ongoing into the report of an alleged rape on Mooreland Drive.


Following a traffic stop on East Main Street, Herman Behe, 77, North Jackson, was cited for no seatbelt.


June 6


Following a traffic stop on North Broad Street, John Prokay, 21, Warren, was charged with drug abuse.


Following a traffic stop on West Main Street, Gregory Nespeca, 27, Boardman, was cited for no seatbelt. 


Following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard, Jennifer Smith, 38, Salem, was cited for speeding (44 in a 25 zone).
