May 12

Provide portable breath tester at Circle K, Lockwood and Tippecanoe at the request for mutual aid from Mahoning County deputies.

Following a traffic stop, Samantha Hamner, 25, Youngstown, was charged with driving while under suspension and was cited for no front plate.

K9 mutual aid was provided to the Jackson Township Police Department in tracking two subjects who fled from a stolen car. Both subjects were caught and taken into custody by the Jackson officers.

May 13

Following a traffic stop, Andrea Burzese, 19, Aliquipa, Pa. was cited for no turn signal and Daniel Bail, 23, from Aliquipa, Pa., was cited for a passenger seat belt violation.

Following a traffic stop, Craig Martin, 44, Canton, was charged with receiving stolen property and was cited for a marked lanes violation. During the same stop, Paul Ruzich, 42, Aurora, Ill., was charged with falsification, possession of drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property.

May 14

Following a call to Giant Eagle on East Main Street, Benjamin Sirley, 25, Newton Falls, was taken into custody on a theft charge.

Nieves Pantoja, 28, Butler, Pa., was taken into custody on a bench warrant from Canfield Mayor’s Court for failure to pay fines.

May 15

An investigation was conducted into a report of an ex-owner entering a residence on Lisbon Street without permission.

Following a traffic stop, Dorothy Shill, 47, Canfield, was cited for speeding.

Following a traffic stop, Steven Lewis, 22, Boardman, was cited for an unsafe vehicle (cracked windshield).

Officers responded to a disturbance between a male and female subject at a Fairground Boulevard residence. No arrests were made.

May 16

Following a traffic stop, Terry Hoagland, 42, New Lawrence was cited for speeding (56 in a 35 zone).

May 17

Following a traffic stop, Nicholas Manos, 44, Canfield, was cited for expired license plates.

Following a call to a Garwood residence, Stanley Paszko, 62, Canfield, was charged with domestic violence,

Following a traffic stop, Phillip Saadey, 18, Canfield, was charged with drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and under age possession of alcohol.
