Johnson and Beadle exchange vows at St. Patrick's

The wedding of Melissa Christina Johnson and Robert Malvin Beadle was celebrated Oct. 3, 2009 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Youngstown. The Rev. Edward Noga officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, which united the daughter of Christopher and Mary Kaye Johnson of Canfield and the son of William and Madeleine Beadle of Warren in matrimony. A reception was held in the couple’s honor at Leo’s Ristorante in Warren, with cocktails and dinner.


The bride wore a couture Mon Cheri off-white empire-waisted gown with Swarovski crystal beading and custom-made Swarovski-beaded bolero jacket. Her ensemble was topped by a custom-made Swarovskl crystal veil accompanied by a Swarovski crystal princess design tiara. She carried a fresh bouquet of white mini calla lilies, light pink anna roses, white freesia, mini green berries and lisianthus accompanied by pearls and a touch of white feathers.


The bridesmaids wore floor-length fuchsia gowns, while the junior bridesmaids wore tea-length fuchsia gowns. All of the bridesmaids’ flowers included fresh mini fuchsia gerber daisies, white hydrangea, green berries and sweetheart fuchsia roses. The flower girls wore off-white Cinderella tea-length dresses with pearl beading and carried fuchsia floral heart-shaped clutches.


Serving as maid of honor was Dr. Michele Johnson of Columbus, sister of the bride. Her bridesmaids included Amanda Johnson of Canfield, cousin of the bride, and Nicole Brookhart of Canfield, Lori Bertilacci of Poland, Kristeen Pecchia of Boardman and Jessica Reed of Canfield, friends of the bride. The junior bridesmaids were twin sisters Claire Beadle and Abigail Beadle of Austintown, nieces of the groom. Flower girls were Aubrey Beadle, Madeleine Beadle and Raenah Beadle of Howland, nieces of the groom, and CeCe Economus and Lilly Economus of Canfield, friends of the bride.


Jeffrey Beadle of Howland, brother of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen included William Beadle Jr. of Austintown and Dave Beadle of Leavitsburg, brothers of the groom, Chelsey Santucci of Warren, cousin of the bride, and Lucas Pecchia of Boardman and Rob Reed of Canfield, friends of the groom. Gabriel Beadle of Howland, nephew of the groom, was the junior groomsman.


The new Mrs. Beadle earned a bachelor of science in business administration from Youngstown State University, a bachelor of arts in psychology, also from YSU, and a master of business administration from Capella University. She is employed as the program manager of the Nurse Assistant Training Program at the American Red Cross of Greater Cleveland.


Mr. Beadle graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of arts in psychology and an LSW certification. He is the program manager of the Lake County W.O.R.K. Program at Berea Children's Home and Family Services.


Following a honeymoon trip to Sandals Resorts in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple has settled in Berea.
