First United Methodist Church of East Liverpool was the setting May 2 as the Rev. Dale Sutton heard the vows of Melissa Zelina, daughter of George and Debbie Zelina of Poland, and Ryan Stenger, son of Michael and Connie Stenger of East Liverpool, and Beth Barnes of East Liverpool.

After a reception at Antone’s Banquet Center in Boardman, the couple celebrated their honeymoon at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, Hawaii. The couple now resides in Dublin.

The bride’s strapless gown was enhanced with a beaded bodice and featured a sheer embellished overlay as her train. The matron of honor, Mandy Sinchak, and the maid of honor, Lisa Gourley, wore platinum gowns, as did bridesmaids Christina Bilyk and Gina Bilyk, cousins of the bride, Paige Emmerling, sister of the groom, and Becki Zevkovich and Allyson Gally, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Julia Castellano, cousin of the bride.

Christopher Sanford, brother of the groom, was the best man. The groomsmen were Brian Hamilton, Ryan Sheppard, Chuck Blasdel, Mike Parkes Jr., and Joe Price, friends of the groom, and Matthew Zelina, brother of the bride. The ring bearers were Nathan Sinchak, friend of the bride, and Connor Durbin, nephew of the groom.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Youngstown State University, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and is currently a senior analyst with Exel Logistics in Westerville. The groom attended Ohio State University, majoring in political science, and is currently the managing partner of the Ohio Political Network in Columbus.
